The kit is 1/350 scale, 573mm in length, 76mm in width, and features the fearless Saikami, a heavy cruiser equipped with five 20.3cm twin cannons. Large parts, such as the hull and deck, can be securely assembled by screwing them to the reinforced frame parts. The main turret, torpedo tubes, anti-aircraft guns, and catapult can be swiveled even after completion. The front and rear masts and aerial battle props are made of break-resistant ABS plastic. The bridge window and searchlight lenses are transparent parts. Anti-aircraft machine guns and flame extinguishers are also included. The set includes two Type 95 waterborne reconnaissance aircraft and four Type Zero waterborne reconnaissance aircraft. The fuselage is delicately molded and has a strong presence. A stand is included to display the aircraft in flight. A metal display stand with nameplate sticker is included.
