The cardboard box has been opened, but all the parts are inside, and the original plastic bags are unopened. Instructions and everything else that was originally in the box is included. You will need glue (both plastic and white) and will almost certainly want to paint it to bring it to its full glory. This rocket is flyable, but if you spend enough time making it pretty you might decide not to risk it at the range. If you do, you’ll need a 3/16 maxi rod, and suitable engines. I’m pretty sure this requires “E” engines; there are videos online of people flying it on larger engines, but I don’t recommend that. Estes calls this a Skill Level 4 kit, and actually recommends this for 18 years or older. If you (or your child) has experience building and flying other rockets (at least Skill Level 3) then this will be a nice step up. If you don’t want to fly it, but have experience building other high skill models using plastic and balsa wood, this would make a very nice display piece.
