It will – once finished certainly be a great conversation piece on your appartemnt or house. This item is open box. It not is not sealed. This item was opened to ensure all requisite parts are present as well as instruction manuals. The packaging itself shows signs of age and wear, as this unit certainly appears to be from an older production run than any modern/current runs. Contents are in pristine, unused condition despite wear to packaging. If the cost is less I will reimburse you overpaid cost.

The box show very light wear and is open, but as you can see other than pulling out two Styrofoam pieces for pictures it is factory sealed. The box shows some very light wear or rub marks. The previous owner collected over 800 models during his life, but most are still brand new unassembled in the box. It will take several months to list them, so please be patient with me, my brother, and my wife. I also acquired about 50 Danbury Mint diecast cars in original condition with boxes and most have titles. Some of these are very rare and hard to find. Thank you for your continued patronage. On her maiden voyage in 1628 the “Wasa” was sunk, not by enemy cannon, but by a storm. In 1956 the Swedish government located and raised her. Completely restored, she now rests in the Stockholm Naval Museum. Following the restoration plans of the original, Corel’s kit accurately recreates every detail. Over 350 sculptured parts of gilded metal provide opulent ornamentation. Fittings are comprised of walnut, beech, copper and brass. The 64 cannons aboard are machine turned brass. Hull is double-planked in basswood and walnut. All structural parts of poplar, Tanganyika and walnut are pre-cut for easy assembly. Included are nine sheets of plans and step-by-step instructions. Double plank (basswood and walnut) on bulkhead construction. 64 turned brass cannons. Detailed full rigging and many more accurately reproduced parts. Approximate assembled size 37″ x 29 1/2″.
