390X Offshore Performance Cat model w/ Mercury O/B’s in 1/24 Scale. Model is roughly 21.5 inches assembled. This Boat Model comes in 31 pieces total not including trailer. Option without trailer comes with a PLA stand that is for the most part hidden under the model. Most pieces are keyed or slotted for precise fit. This model has a channel cutout for the windshield. You will receive some semi rigid clear plastic with a stencil to cut out windshield. Tilt Trailer is a showpiece itself. It comes in 48 Pieces and will include basic instructions that cover the complex parts. Tilt moves to both positions shown in photos and it resembles the movement of production offshore race boat tilt trailers. Once assembled it can simply be moved back and forth between positions with or without the boat. No disassembly or reassembly is necessary. It is not automated in any way. Must be actuated with your hand. The grey color of the trailer frame rails may vary slightly from photos. Sometimes lighter or darker grey. This Model is printed in high quality ABS-like resin and PLA Filament where necessary. This highly detailed resin model may have slight imperfections from the printing process. Resin printing requires supports to hold the model in place while printing. These supports leave scars on the face of the model that can be scraped or sanded off easily. (Resin sands very well) I do my absolute best to limit these supports to the bottom of the model but that is not always possible. While inspecting the prints I remove the supports and do a fair amount of cleanup but I leave the bulk of the body work to you, the experts. Listed photos are of actual prints and stand as an example of what you can expect. This Kit requires mating the hull pieces together. The Hull connection is Keyed for the best fit possible but the supports required for printing make these surfaces less than flat in some cases. It will require some sculping and floating to achieve a hidden seam. 390X Offshore race boat kit is 31 pieces in total. 4 Piece hull, Binnacle, Steering wheel, L & R engines, Rigging tubes X2, Front seats X4, Rear Bench seat, speakers X8, Tie bar, and Stand Printed in PLAif ordered without trailer. Tilt Trailer kit is 48 Pieces in total. Includes all pieces shown in photos. This model is printed using multiple types of material due to its size and load carrying requirement. The Frame pieces are Printed in PLA and will have a visible grain to the plastic. The remaining parts are printed in ABS Like resing and have a much finer finish. This is a very high end resin print and I treat them as such. Models with this level of detail require even more supports and processing than normal due to the high level of intricacy. The large parts are hollowed and will have vent holes for resin drainage and internal curing. Due to required print orientation the hull pieces will not have a perfectly flat mating surface. Some floating will be necessary to achieve the appearance of the photos. This is not perfect recreation. I create models from photos, vector images, and basic dimensions when available. Many things are as I see them in photos and even more things are altered to allow for 3D printing. Some small details are exaggerated and some can not be recreated in this scale. This model is printed in pieces due to its size. Vehicle Models are supplied unpainted and It will be printed to order, allow 10 days for production. Model does not require paint and will hold up fine unfinished in a climate controlled dry area. Direct exposure to UV will discolor model and exposure to excessive heat will deform model. Any paint suited for plastic will work well with ABS-Like resin using standard painting process. ABS-Like resin is not suited for use in water without some type of sealer.
