Made in the USA. This is a poured resin hull in 1 piece, solid resin. Thereby the bottom or keel may be a bit rough and may require some extra attention and work. It’s not a defect, it’s how the kit is and the only way to guarantee a clean appearance and fit for the upper half of the kit. Because these kits are handmade, they may require the molds to be recast at times.

An unstarted, pre-owned resin model of the USS Maine with the following items. A lovely walnut base. Five bags of unopened resin parts. One unopened bag of metal fittings. Two sheets of photo etched brass parts. This kit was not started. It still is in its original packaging. The photos show that there are chips and dings in the resin. I do not know if this is typical of the resin material. There are some shards of the resin in the bubble wrap that encases the hull. Photos are part of the description.
