Up for sale is a Peter Pan Jolly Roger Model Kit issued in 1981 by Revell – Germany, H-0377. The kit is based on an attraction in the original Disneyland of the 1950s. It was an aging wooden building in which wood at the base had been replaced with concrete over the years to better withstand sitting in the water of a tropical lagoon. Bulldozers unceremoniously demolished the longtime landmark. Trucks hauled away the mangled timbers and chunks of concrete. This kit has been issued a number of times with different box covers which do not say “Disneyland” when produced in foreign countries. Revell did not mark the boxes “Disneyland” or show Peter Pan, Captain Hook or the Crocodile on the box, choosing instead to talk in the assembly instructions about the original Peter Pan book. The parts are molded in brown and are still contained in their plastic bag (bag has be opened). Paint and glue are required for assembly; neither are included with the kit.
