The Falmouth was launched in Blackwall, England in 1752. The superiority of the crew was partly due to the incentive granted to each gunman allowing each individual to transport his own 5 tonnage of goods there and 2 tonnage back. The Falmouth was of 499 tons and was in service until 1764 completing five voyages for the East India Company. She was lost on her sixth voyage, wrecked in 1766. The box show very light wear and is open, but as you can see other than pulling out two Styrofoam pieces for pictures it is factory sealed. The box shows some very light wear or rub marks. The previous owner collected over 800 models during his life, but most are still brand new unassembled in the box. It will take several months to list them, so please be patient with me, my brother, and my wife. I also acquired about 50 Danbury Mint diecast cars in original condition with boxes and most have titles. Some of these are very rare and hard to find. Thank you for your continued patronage. The small box on the left contains more intricate pieces. Picture 6 shows it’s contents. The box in the back is the last picture and contains wooden rods and such.
