The scale-rich masts, machine gun barrels, and the intricately constructed bridge and deck are delicately sculpted to further enhance the sense of realism. This plastic assembly kit of the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Enterprise, nicknamed “Big E, ” was completed in 1961. The voluminous hull is divided into two sections, faithfully recreating its delicate lines. Three metal frames are used internally, and the large sponsons protruding from both sides are molded as a single piece for added strength. It is in 1:350 scale. It comes in kit form. It should be considered as an advanced level kit due to the number of small, individual parts. The item comes from an estate. This 1984 vintage kit is new and sealed. The box is in great condition with a slight bow in one corner. The plastic packaging is in very good condition with a few very small holes in the plastic covering the box. I believe that is caused by the shrinkage of the plastic because of age. Please look at my pictures. What you see is exactly what you’ll get.
