Please see pics for everything that is included. All part bags are sealed (cannon bag taped after found off its staple). All other wood parts appear to be included hull, deck, masts etc. I used best efforts to confirm all parts are present however I cannot guarantee this.

Now it is know as a bark. Launched in 1764 and chosen by the aforementioned sailor four years later to prepare for his historic voyage, HMS Endeavour was part of important discoveries. It discovered Australia and facilitated the location of Tahiti, New Zealand and many islands in the Pacific Ocean, as well as animal and plant species previously unknown in Europe. Likewise, all this adventure undertaken from the United Kingdom allowed the calculation of the position in longitude with great precision by means of mathematical formulas. In this sense, the contribution of James Cook’s travels to navigation, seafaring and geographical exploration have an absolutely historical importance. Now, the modeler has the fabulous and renewed wooden model to build of the HMS Endeavour. A must in any naval modeling collection! An arduous work that has concluded with an extraordinary result. Designed and built by the renowned naval architect William Fife III, the Endeavour was launched in 1934 and quickly gained fame for its impressive speed and graceful design. It was commissioned by Sir Thomas Sopwith, a British aviation pioneer and yachtsman, with the intention of challenging for the America’s Cup – the most prestigious trophy in the world of sailing. With its sleek lines and towering masts, the Endeavour was a magnificent sight to behold. It was a true representation of the golden age of yachting, with its intricate woodwork and luxurious interior. The boat was also equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the time, including a hydraulic steering system and an innovative underwater shape that allowed for maximum speed and stability. The kit contains pre-cut lifts (in alternating layers of basswood and mahogany), a chamfered solid cherry backboard (6? X 23?), brass nameplate, plans, and illustrated instruction booklet. The modeler learns to glue the lifts, carve and sand them to conform to the true hull shape, finish the model and backboard, and assemble the completed model. Endeavour can be varnished, showing the decorative alternating basswood and mahogany layers, or painted as on the original yacht.

This marvelous HMS Endeavour scale 1:60 SM 41 model was created by Corel Modelissmo of Milan Italy in 1970. This complete model kit contains all pieces for creation of Capt. James Cook’s famous HMS Endeavour. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Total length=30 inches/780 mm, Hull length=22.04 inches, Height=25.98 inches/780 mm, Width=9.44 inches/240 mm, Port width=5.59 inches. This beautiful model kit has been well cared for, never attempted and is in excellent vintage condition with all parts and instructions intact. It is the perfect addition to your Navy model collection, particularly if you like British Navy history! The HMS Endeavour was a famous British Royal Navy research vessel, also known as HM Bark Endeavour. A well-known Lieutenant “James Cook” commanded this research vessel on his very first voyage and discovered Australia and New Zealand from 1769 to 1771. The purpose of this operation was to travel to Tahiti to observe the transit of Venus in front of the Sun, thus contributing to astronomy and navigation. Another mission was to determine if there was an unknown southern land, originally known as Terra Australis Incognita. The navy then renamed her as His Majesty’s Bark the Endeavour. She left Plymouth on 25 August 1768 and arrived in Tahiti on 13th April 1769. The crew of James Cook established very good relations with the Tahitians and remained on the island for three months. HMS Endeavour arrived on the island of New Zealand on 4 October 1769 and for six months the crew visited the islands and subsequently established the fact that there were actually two islands. Due to bad weather conditions, Cook abandoned his search for Terra Australis on 31 March 1770 and arrived at New Holland on 19 April 1770. HMS Endeavour again departed on 16 May 1770 along the coast of Australia. Nine days later, the HME Endeavour arrived at what is now known as the town of Cook. The vessel remained there for 6 days for repair. In 1793 she ran aground off Rhode Island and was demolished.
