The kit allows model enthusiasts to build a scale replica of the iconic USS Constitution, also known as “Old Ironsides, ” which played a pivotal role in American naval history. Dimensions: Approximately 36 inches in length and 27 inches in height. Pieces: 191 plastic components. Materials: Plastic, with multicolor design and removable stickers for added customization. Skill Level: Intended for ages 13 and up, suitable for both beginner and experienced modelers. Construction Type: Assembly kit requiring glue (plastic cement recommended) and optional paint. Accessories: Includes sails, rigging lines, and stickers to enhance realism. Some kits may require the use of your own paint and cement for assembly. Educational and Recreational Value: Building the model offers hands-on learning about American maritime history, improves problem-solving skills, and provides a sense of accomplishment once completed. Vintage Collectability: Being a 1978 release, these kits are considered collectible, especially if the original parts are unused and sealed. Was able to wiggle the box to make sure it was still present. Original box has some moisture damage. Still has integrity it just isnt the prettiest anymore.
