This is an old kit I bought 40 years ago and the well worn box shows its age. The kit has never been started and I believe it is all there tho I can’t be positive about that. It has been in my possession since the day I bought it at the hobby shop and when I moved it moved with me. It is a large kit of RATTLESNAKE and when completed it is 28″ long and 18″ high so it will take up a lot of room. The plans have a date of 1963 so like I said it is an old kit in 3/16 scale which is hard to find in this scale. You get all the fittings, masts, spars, fittings, line for rigging, and even sail cloth for making sails. I bought this kit in the early 70’s as other kits with grand visions in my mind of what it would look like when I would build it but never did. I did build an Italian brigantine for my Mother, plank-on-frame in the 70’s and after a 2 year build I didn’t build any more because of work, night school, family obligations, etc. Have a nice day and be safe. I acquired this from an estate with a number of other kits. I feel fairly confident that it is complete. The box is over 7 pounds! The only deficiencies that I can see are that there is no original box, and the running rigging plans are water damaged–but they have all been copied on 8 1/2 x 11 pages. See the last two photos. Please look at the photos. It seems like a cool kit to build. Artesania Latina’s kit features pre-cut frames. All metal fittings are brass and copper. Stern windows and other ornamentation are bronzed cast metal. The Endeavour carries eight brass swivel falconets and four brass cannon on walnut carriages. Deadeyes and ships wheel are rare yellow boxwood. Four sheets of extensive plans are included, along with illustrated instruction booklet. Length: 31 1/2″, Height: 27″, Scale 1:60.
