ORIGINAL REVELL USS SARATOGA 1960’S PICTURE FLEET 1/542 H-385-349. Kit looks complete but I do not have the directions so please view all photos for what is included. Box top is in great shape. Box bottom has numerous tape repairs and is missing part of the bottom. Sticker sheet shows wear throughout and being so old there is no guarantee on them sticking. 1966 Original Issue Aurora Captain America Kit No. Excellent original 1966 Aurora Captain America model kit No. In the wake of Adam West and Batmania, Aurora sought other superhero properties for figure kits, and produced three Marvel characters: Spider-Man, the Hulk and Captain America. These are now among the hardest to get and most desirable of the Aurora kits. This Captain America model kit is unbuilt in it’s original box. As you should be able to see in my photos of the box, the left side of the box has been put under some pressure, not breaking the box but creating a bend along the left side. The color and paper of the box lid are in excellent condition. The kit inside was carefully removed from sprues, except for a few small pieces. It is complete except for one tiny piece, the “wing” which belongs on the left side of the cap’s cowl. The original instruction sheet is also included; it has slightly yellowed on the outside. The great Jack Kirby is the illustrator who did the box artwork also.
