This 1st release is molded in yellow polystyrene whereas the 2nd, and more common, release from 1958 D26A is molded in a gray-green’. I have inventoried this kit– IT IS INCOMPLETE… And it has other “issues”! The top part for the gantry is missing small! The Fuel or passenger runway has one end snapped off. There are only 8 of 9 of the smaller propulasion rockets… The passenger rocket has some painting and a decal applied. The original decals have 2 cut out. The original decals are OLD and include the “RX-1″ designation instead of the correct XR-1 found in the second release. Those decals are shown in the last photo. Instructions and each face of the box cover are shown. You also get to send away for a modeling award!
