This is a vintage collectible kraft custom RC boat adapted for live steam power. The engine that comes with this is new and the same one is used in the midwest fantail launch which is quite familiar with model live steam enthusiasts. The hull of this cabin cruiser is a classic design with ABS with plywood and art wood decking and planking, hand painted and stained. I have adapted a midsize Mamod boiler to power this engine and gave a couple of good runs. This boat comes with handmade and painted canopies (2) with solid brass rods and stand. Checked for water worthiness, well balanced and working well. Almost no ballasting is required. Can be radio controlled easily as enough space is available for rc gear. Function 1: rudder control. Function 2: steam whistle. Measures length 19″ width 6.5″ and height with canopy attached 8.5. Enough space is left still for RC gear. Some of the working stills might look different colored as they were taken some time ago and the entire hull has been caulked well using generous coats of spar urethane subsequently. There is a hairline crack to the hull in the stern but it has been addressed by sealing and even before that there was no leaking from that place. But the sealing was done as a precautionary measure. As some deco parts of this boat are glued to the hull please kindly bear with me if some got detached during transit. However I will ensure every possible step not to happen so. Some assembly is required after receiving this item. The working of this boat has been tested on stand and in bath tub and it ran strong and realistic. I have huge collection of European, American and British live steam engines and some are adopted to live steam boat applications. So please go through my other listings as well.
